Trees Inc. spent about $370,000 to plant trees in the 1980s and reserved $100,000 as a maintenance fund. From 2001 through 2007, Trees Inc. received a donation of about $21,000 annually from the Borough of Pottstown and donations from developers in lieu of planting trees.
