Tree Planting & Inventory

Since 1984, Trees Inc. has planted more than 2,600 street trees at a total cost of about $536,000. About 1,900 trees were new trees, and about 690 trees replaced trees that had died from natural causes, vandalism, or being run over by cars.

Starting in 1993, Trees Inc. began routine maintenance of most street trees in Pottstown, no matter who planted them. It also has removed more than 270 stumps.
